Ch. 3906: Married At First Sight Chapter 3906
Chapter 3906
Tatumâs passion for cooking was evident in everything he did, from the precision of his dishes to the calm confidence he exuded. Of course, it didnât hurt that he was undeniably handsome.
Sevyn Ormond, ever the lighthearted one, grinned as she watched him. âHonestly, even if the food wasnât delicious, Iâd probably still feel like Iâm dining on delicacies just looking at him,â she quipped. Sevyn was notorious for being swayed by a good-looking face, and she owned it unapologetically.
Elora chuckled, shaking her head at her sisterâs comment. âLetâs get one thing straightâwhatever youâre tasting is because of Tatumâs skills, not me. Heâs the one who makes it happen.â
Tatum, standing nearby, smiled modestly. âIâm the chef for Miss Elora. I follow her lead,â he said in his usual calm, steady tone.
The underlying message was clear: if Elora didnât agree to something, no one else could dream of having it. This earned a round of laughter from the other Ormond sisters, who couldnât help but admire his loyalty.
Everything Tatum did revolved around Elora. His dedication was unwavering, almost as if she were the center of his world.
Elora gave him a knowing smile. âYou should get some rest, Tatum. My sisters and I are just going to relax here for a while. When the boys are done playing in the snow, weâll head back inside.â
With a polite nod, Tatum left the gazebo. On his way back, he stopped briefly to engage in the snowball fight with the younger brothers, eliciting delighted shrieks of laughter from them before retreating to his quarters.
As they watched him go, Sevyn leaned closer to Elora, her tone half-serious, half-teasing. âSister, Tatum is too perfect. Heâs so good that I canât help but wonderâdoes he have some ulterior motive?â
Elora didnât flinch. âYou think I havenât checked? Twice? His background is spotless. Heâs from Wiltspoon, a thousand miles away. No connections to this place or to us before now. The only reason heâs here is his passion for cooking.â
Tinsley chimed in, unable to resist adding her own playful commentary. âStill, if Tatum has any ulterior motives, Iâd say theyâve developed after meeting you. Heâs so attentive to youâitâs hard not to think heâs smitten.â
Elora shot her an exasperated look. âTinsley, are you just trying to get back at me for teasing you earlier?â
Tinsley giggled mischievously. It was true; Elora had often teased her about how much she admired Tatumâs good looks and talent. âMaybe,â she admitted, grinning. âBut Iâm not wrong, am I?â
Elora sighed, shaking her head. Tatum was undeniably exceptional. He had won over not just her, but also her family, from the elders to the youngest siblings. Yet, she couldnât detect even a hint of romantic interest from him. He seemed to embody pure professionalism and kindnessâqualities that her sisters were all too eager to misinterpret.
âHeâs just good at what he does,â Elora said firmly, though a small smile tugged at her lips. âLetâs leave it at that.â
Still giggling, Tinsley teased again, âHonestly, sister, the guy your classmate introduced you to doesnât even come close to Tatum. You shouldnât waste your time on him.â
âI havenât even considered it,â Elora retorted, tapping Tinsley lightly on the forehead. âYou really need to stop stirring things up.â
The atmosphere was light and relaxed, a contrast to Eloraâs usual serious demeanor. Her sisters, emboldened by the casual mood, took the opportunity to poke fun at herâa rare chance they didnât want to miss.
Suddenly, the sound of a phone ringing interrupted the laughter. Elora glanced at her phone and raised an eyebrow.
âSpeak of the devil,â she said, answering the call. It was Rosie, her old classmate.
The sisters exchanged amused looks, but Eloraâs focus shifted to the conversation as Rosieâs voice came through the line.
