Ch. 4657: Married At First Sight Chapter 4657

Chapter 4657

“Let’s just wait and see,” Nancy said. “I haven’t confessed yet. I need to be more confident—maybe I still have a chance with him.”

Her best friend encouraged her, “Exactly. Don’t give up yet. I believe you can win Trenton over. Go for it. Since he said he’d pick you up tonight and take you to dinner, just act normal. Pretend like nothing happened and enjoy dinner with him.”

Nancy smiled. “I know.”

She had kept her feelings deeply hidden all this time. Trenton probably didn’t even realize she loved him.

Meanwhile, at Wildridge Manor, by the indoor swimming pool, Serenity and several of her sisters-in-law sat along the edge, watching their husbands teaching the kids to swim.

The kids—Maverick, Colson, Colton, and little Milo—were splashing around in the shallow end with lifebuoys. The weather was scorching hot, and the children had begged to play in the water that afternoon.

Serenity had asked her husband to take their son for a swim and help him learn.

Their fathers watched closely, never leaving the boys unattended, ready to act the moment someone swallowed water or slipped.

“Elisa,” Camryn said, sitting purposely beside her.

Elisa turned and smiled. “What’s up? You’ve been eyeing me ever since your walk with your husband. Looks like you’ve got something private to say.”

Leaning in playfully, she whispered, “Tell me—I promise I won’t spill a word. You know I can keep a secret.”

Camryn chuckled. “It’s not gossip. No need to lean in like that.”

Elisa grinned. “Even better! I like non-gossip too. So, what is it?”

“I want you to help me look into someone,” Camryn replied.

“Who? A man or a woman? If it’s a guy, Camryn, I’m out. Don’t drag me into that—I don’t want your Callum coming after me. He’d skin me alive if he thought I was helping you dig up info on some guy.”

They both laughed. All of their husbands were overprotective and quick to get jealous.

Thinking of her own husband Remy, Elisa sighed inwardly—he’d picked up the same domineering streak from spending time with Zachary and the rest.

“Don’t worry,” Camryn said, amused. “It’s a girl—Nancy. She was my brother Trenton’s college classmate. Now she works at your Stone Group and is already a mid-level manager.”

“Nancy?” Elisa frowned. “That name sounds familiar. Since she’s in my company, I’ve probably heard of her. It’s impressive to make it to middle management just three or four years out of college. Is she... someone Trenton likes?”

Camryn nodded. “Yes. Trenton likes her. She asked if he could bring her to visit our villa. I turned him down—mainly for the kids’ safety. Since I don’t know her, I couldn’t allow it.”

Elisa agreed, “You did the right thing. Your brother’s social status is significant. Since she works in our company, she probably knows that already.”
