Ch. 4913: Married At First Sight Chapter 4913
Chapter 4913
The shops surrounding the children’s play area sold clothes, bread, milk tea, and all kinds of snacks.
Above it were four more floors. Many parents would drop their kids off on the ground floor, head upstairs to shop, and then return to pick them up later.
With so many children gathered together, the place buzzed with laughter and energy. Most of them were having so much fun they didn’t even want to go home.
For the young heirs of wealthy families, this kind of lively atmosphere was rare.
Serenity brought her children here to let them experience that everyday joy — the kind of carefree happiness found in ordinary life.
She took the three little ones into the supermarket. Milo and Baby immediately ran toward the children’s playground. The place was packed with kids, and there was even a small train that circled the supermarket — twenty-five dollars per ride.
Many parents let their kids enjoy a quick ride and then left as soon as the attendant came around to collect payment.
There was also a huge digital floor screen that kept changing scenes, and the kids loved it — jumping and stomping as colorful images shifted beneath their feet.
Plastic balls, rocking cars, and other small attractions filled the area.
Compared to the massive, luxurious playground at Wildridge Manor, this one was modest — but it was full of life.
And children, no matter how privileged, were always drawn to crowds.
Even though Milo and Baby had played with every toy imaginable at Wildridge Manor, they were still thrilled here, diving into the fun with other kids like it was something new.
Nearby, a few flower-shaped chairs were set up for parents to rest while watching their children. Each petal could fit two people.
Serenity led Belle over, letting her join the other kids before taking a seat on one of the chairs.
She reminded the two boys to keep an eye on their little sister.
Belle giggled as she stepped on a cartoon woodchuck that popped up on the digital floor. Each time it disappeared, she squealed with joy — though the game was programmed to retract automatically, not from her stomping.
Smiling softly, Serenity took out her phone and shared her location with Jasmine.
A short while later, Jasmine arrived.
“Over here!” Serenity called out, standing up and waving.
Jasmine spotted her right away and walked over with a bright smile.
“Where’s the little rascal?” she asked.
Serenity pointed toward the play area. “He’s playing ball with Baby, and Belle’s still busy jumping around.”
Jasmine followed her gaze and laughed softly. Seeing her son and Belle enjoying themselves so much made her heart lighten.
“You should take them out like this more often when you have time,” Jasmine said. “Just look at how happy Belle is.”
As long as they didn’t have their bodyguards standing too close, they blended right in.
Sometimes, they even wore subtle makeup to disguise their features — a trick they learned from the Johnson family’s second young mistress, whose disguise skills were almost legendary. In another era, she could’ve been a master of disguise; even her own mother might not have recognized her.
But as Iris once joked, “No matter what, Ben and Yves always manage to find her.”
Serenity smiled faintly. “I try to take them out whenever I can. After all, I didn’t grow up rich. Even though my ancestors once had wealth, I was raised in a regular family.”
Even after becoming the York family’s eldest young madam, she never lost her appreciation for ordinary life. She wanted her children to know it too.
To the people around them, they were just another family enjoying a day out — no one would’ve guessed these children belonged to one of the most powerful families in Wiltspoon.
Of course, Serenity still had precautions in place.
Two bodyguards, disguised as parents, sat nearby, keeping an eye on Milo and Baby in the play area.
