"Uncle, Aunt."

After getting out of the car, Sonny greeted everyone with a smile. Then he walked to the back with Baby, opened the trunk, and started taking out several gift boxes.

After Serenity and Zachary greeted Chairman Francoeur, Serenity turned to her nephew and said, "Sonny, you bought so many things again. We already have everything we need at home, including a huge pile of supplements we can’t even finish. And you still keep buying more."

Baby explained, "I told my cousin not to, but both he and Miss Winnie insisted before I even parked the car. They bought all these supplements. Miss Winnie said since we were coming to disturb you today, we couldn’t show up empty-handed."

Serenity looked at Winnie. "Winnie, you’re too thoughtful."

Winnie replied politely, "It’s just a small token of appreciation. I hope Aunt Seren won’t mind."

"Of course I don’t mind," Serenity said with a smile. "I wouldn’t mind anything you give me. Winnie, you look beautiful today. That dress suits you very well."

After complimenting her a few more times, Serenity gently touched Winnie’s head and added, "You’d look even better with long hair."

Winnie raised a hand to her short haircut and smiled. "I’m used to short hair. It’s easier to manage. Even if I get home late, I can wash and dry it quickly. It doesn’t take much time. Long hair takes effort to style, and even just washing it takes longer to dry. I’m busy with work and often don’t get home until after midnight. Short hair is just more practical. I haven’t worn a skirt in ages—I actually feel a little uncomfortable in one."

Serenity smiled, slipped her arm through Winnie’s, and led her inside. "I understand. You can always wear skirts when you have free time. In the summer, they’re especially comfortable."

Winnie had a straightforward, almost boyish personality. Wearing a skirt clearly wasn’t her usual style. Serenity knew she had only put it on because she had gifted it to her—it was a gesture of respect.

The two got along easily. Serenity had a natural warmth that made her easy to be around, and Winnie, as a businesswoman, was socially skilled herself.

Zachary set down his nephew Levi and invited Chairman Francoeur inside. The chairman smiled. "Mr. York, sorry to trouble you."

"Not at all," Zachary replied calmly. "Your visit honors us."

Chairman Francoeur glanced at Sonny and Baby carrying the gifts. Zachary followed his gaze and said lightly, "Let them handle it. They’re fine."

The York children were never raised to be spoiled.

Baby and Sonny carried bags in both hands. Baby muttered to Sonny, "Next time, don’t buy so much. Even if I’m not complaining, it’s still heavy carrying all this."

Sonny chuckled. "We have to prepare a share for every elder." Then he teased, "Who told your family to have so many elders?"

There were three grandparents and nine parents. Even if some uncles and aunts weren’t at the resort, Sonny still prepared something for each of them whenever he visited. That alone added up to quite a lot. He had already bought plenty himself, and with Winnie insisting on adding more, the pile had grown even bigger.

"It’s not far to carry," Sonny added. "If you park in the open lot at the entrance, you’d have to walk much farther. That would be exhausting."

Baby was speechless.

Fine. Sonny had a point.

If they counted all the elders in the family, that meant four recipients per visit. One gift each made four gifts already. Whenever he traveled domestically for business, he always brought back plenty of things and usually gave each elder two sets.
