Ch. 5335: Married at First Sight Chapter 5335

Chapter 5335

Jane, who had just stepped out of the car, didn’t hesitate to expose her niece.
“Valeria, didn’t you say your favorite person was your aunt? You fall in love with every girl you meet.”

Iris laughed and added,
“That’s right—you also said I was your favorite.”

Valeria grinned playfully.
“Yes, yes—I love everyone. You’re all my favorites.”

Letting go of Avah, she grabbed Belle’s arm and pulled her toward the house.
“Sister Belle, Little Jax and Levi are here.”

“Why are they here?” Belle asked, surprised.

“They missed you.”

Belle sighed helplessly.
“Do I really have to bring two little tagalongs with me even when I’m working?”

“It’s fine—they won’t bother you,” Valeria said with a smile. “They’ve been playing with my younger cousins all day. They’ve practically forgotten about you.”

“Kids just need playmates.”

That reassured Belle.

Sure enough, once inside, she saw a room full of elders—and her two youngest cousins. After greeting her, the boys quickly ran off to play with the Johnson family’s youngest sons, who were about the same age.

The York and Johnson families were long-time allies and related by marriage. Belle had practically grown up under the care of the Johnson elders, just as Avah had been doted on by the York family.

Their affection for Belle was no less than what they gave to their own daughters.

Dinner was lively and warm.

The elders stayed inside chatting, while the younger generation headed out for a walk.

Fabian walked beside Belle.

Ahead of them, Avah and Hendrix walked side by side.

Glancing at the couple in front, Fabian teased,
“Belle, you coming today really helped. My brother-in-law is definitely grateful to you.”

Belle watched the two ahead of them, her gaze softening.

They reminded her of herself and Milo—
childhood sweethearts, simple and sincere.

They didn’t need to say “I love you.” Every glance, every small gesture, spoke for them.

“She must get home really late most days, right?” Belle asked.

“Yeah,” Fabian replied. “She leaves early and comes back late. Even weekends aren’t guaranteed. Hendrix barely gets time to have a proper meal or go on a date with her.”

He added with a grin,
“It’s only because you came that she canceled her social engagements. If it were anyone else, she wouldn’t.”

Belle smiled.
“Sister Avah really is the best to me. So when are she and Brother Hendrix getting married?”

Fabian shrugged.
“Probably in another two years. Hendrix has already waited this long—what’s a little more? My sister says weddings take too much time, even if she doesn’t have to do much herself.”

“We’ve all told her we can handle the company when that time comes. She should just focus on being a bride and enjoy her honeymoon.”

Avah had traveled all over the world—but always for work.

She had never truly taken time to rest.

“She’s too used to being busy,” Fabian continued. “If she actually took a month off, she’d probably get bored.”

Belle smiled.
“With Hendrix by her side, how could she ever be bored?”

She paused, then looked at him.
“What about you, Brother Fabian? You’re only three months younger than Sister Avah. Do you have a girlfriend?”
