Ch. 5447: Married at First Sight Chapter 5447

Chapter 5447

“Mother Jane, Master, do you think I’m not good enough for Young Master?”

The moment Jennifer finished speaking, Lilian lightly smacked her arm.

Jane shot her a glare as well.

Rubbing the spot where Lilian had hit her, Jennifer called out with a hint of grievance, “Master.”

It had been a very, very long time since her master had disciplined her like that.

“Don’t say things like that, and don’t even think them,” Lilian said. “Master doesn’t like hearing it. Who says you’re not good enough for Titus? Tell me who it is, and I’ll argue with them myself. How could you not be good enough for Titus? A girl as outstanding as you is rare to find.”

“It was Titus who recognized your worth first and fell deeply in love with you. Otherwise, I would’ve had Crying Cat pursue you. I truly like you. In my eyes, you’re the best possible daughter-in-law.”

Jennifer stayed by Titus’s side on the surface to protect him. In reality, she was also skilled in business and fully capable of helping him. It was just that Titus and Sonny were so exceptional that she rarely had the opportunity to show what she could do.

To outsiders, Jennifer was seen as someone who only knew martial arts and lacked refinement. But looking at her appearance and bearing, how could anyone call her crude?

Anyone who dared say such a thing would be the first person Lilian went after.

Jane nodded in agreement. “Exactly. Who dares say you’re not good enough for Titus? If anything, I think Titus is the one who’s out of your league. He carries far too much responsibility on his shoulders. It’s already a blessing that you don’t look down on him. How would he dare look down on you?”

Jennifer replied, “Mother Jane, if Young Master doesn’t dislike me, I won’t dislike him either.”

Taking Jennifer’s hand, Jane said gently, “Jennifer, don’t overthink it. Just follow your heart. If you love Titus, then accept his feelings and make your relationship official.”

“Once autumn arrives and the weather cools down, we’ll hold a grand wedding for the two of you. We’re your family, and we’ll always support you. Let’s see who dares look down on you or gossip about you.”

Lilian smiled. “Jane, Jennifer is your daughter-in-law. That makes you part of her husband’s family.”

Jane laughed. “I’m both her husband’s family and her own family. No matter what role I have, I’ll always support Jennifer. Jennifer, you have so many younger brothers and sisters. Who would dare bully you? Just say the word, and they’ll fly over to stand up for you.”

“Even if Titus ever dared bully you, we’d be on your side and teach him a lesson. The men in our family cherish their wives—they don’t mistreat them. A wife is meant to be loved and spoiled after marriage.”

“If you don’t love Titus yet, that’s fine. You can keep building your relationship. A man as outstanding as Titus is easy to fall in love with. As long as you stop worrying about social status, I guarantee you’ll be completely head over heels for him within a month.”

Lilian nodded repeatedly.

“But I can’t help Young Master with his career,” Jennifer said.

“Does he need your help?” Lilian replied. “He can handle everything himself. Besides, it’s not that you can’t help him—it’s simply that he doesn’t need your help.”

Jane added, “I’ve already told you not to think about anything else. Just ask yourself one question: do you love him or not?”

In front of the two older women, Jennifer didn’t hide her feelings.

Softly, she admitted, “I love Young Master.”

As Jane had said, a man as outstanding as Titus was easy to fall in love with.

They spent every day together, and Jennifer knew him better than anyone. She knew how good he was and how devoted he was to her.

How could she possibly control her heart?

She had fallen for him long ago.
