Ch. 4643: Married At First Sight Chapter 4643

Chapter 4643

The late Old Lady Johnson used to keep a close eye on her great-granddaughter whenever she saw Old Lady York nearby—she was genuinely afraid the York matriarch would secretly snatch the little girl away.

After Ben’s cousins got married, just like Zachary’s brothers, they all had sons.

Ben and Jane were a bit luckier than Zachary and Serenity—they had both a son and a daughter in their first pregnancy. Serenity, on the other hand, had to go through a second pregnancy to have both.

For the women of the York family, having both a son and a daughter—even in the second pregnancy—was considered extremely lucky. Just look at the third wife, who couldn’t have a daughter even after four children.

“Brother, if we were guaranteed to have a daughter in a second pregnancy, we’d be all for it,” Kevin said. “But the odds aren’t in our favor. Based on our family history, we’d probably have another boy. Forget it—these two are already enough to give us headaches.”

Kevin didn’t want another child, and Hayden wasn’t pushing for one either.

“Even though I don’t have a daughter, having a niece is amazing,” Kevin added. “She broke our family’s all-boy streak.”

He figured that although he had two sons now, the odds of having granddaughters in the future were good.

Anyway, thanks to Belle, the “all sons” tradition was officially broken. Maybe future generations wouldn’t repeat the same pattern.

“Belle, come here. Let Second Aunt hold you,” Camryn said warmly.

She adored her niece. She was also planning to have a second child herself. Once Lele was a bit older, she’d try again—boy or girl, it didn’t matter. It would be hers and Callum’s child either way.

Belle happily reached her little arms out to Camryn.

Just then, Camryn’s phone rang. As she answered it, Elisa swooped in and took Belle into her arms.

Callum walked over and asked casually, “Who was that?”

“It was your brother-in-law,” Camryn replied.

“Is Trenton free? Invite him over for dinner,” Callum suggested.

He always took good care of his brother-in-law.

After graduating college, Trenton had gone to work at his own company, starting from the bottom. Now he was already a mid-level manager.

Camryn planned to give him back the properties that belonged to him in a couple of years. She no longer wanted to manage them. As the only son of the Newman family, Trenton had to take responsibility for the family assets.

Although Camryn’s parents had hurt her deeply and even killed her biological father, they had paid the price legally. Her brother had always protected her and stood by her, even as a child.

So she never held it against Trenton.

She had no intention of taking anything meant for him—only what rightfully belonged to her.

As for their sister Carrie’s share, it was under Trenton’s control. Their parents had instructed him not to give anything to Carrie.

Carrie had vanished after fleeing Wiltspoon years ago. Camryn never asked about her.

She and her sister would never reconcile. Whether Carrie was dead or alive didn’t matter to her, as long as she didn’t come back to stir up trouble.

Trenton had spent a lot of money hiring a private investigator to find her, but there had been no leads. No one knew where Carrie was hiding—or if she was even still alive.

After all, she had stabbed Mr. Labbe in the back. He was not known for mercy.

It was rumored that the two bodyguards who fled with Carrie had already been “dealt with” by Mr. Labbe. He didn’t hate them for sleeping with Carrie, but for betraying him.
