Ch. 5101: Married At First Sight Chapter 5101

Chapter 5101

Joaquin looked at Aitana deeply and said with gratitude, “Aitana, thank you for forgiving my mother. I’ve already booked high-speed rail tickets for my parents. I’ll send them back to their hometown tomorrow.”

Aitana replied calmly, “That’s your family matter. I won’t interfere.”

Joaquin paused, then apologized to her once again. He tried to leave the gifts behind, but Aitana firmly refused. In the end, the family of three had no choice but to leave with everything they brought.

Joaquin knew it clearly—he was completely out of the running.

As they left the hospital, he remained silent.

His mother glanced at him from time to time, wanting to speak but not daring to say a word.

Only his father tried to comfort him. “Aitana is a magnanimous person. She accepted your mother’s apology and won’t pursue the matter. You don’t need to worry too much.”

After getting into the car, Joaquin finally spoke. “Dad, I’m not worried about my future. I just know that whatever connection I had with Aitana is completely over. I won’t go to the Pollock family clinic again, and I won’t ask Uncle for advice anymore. I feel deeply sorry toward Aitana.”

His parents fell silent.

Guilt was written all over his mother’s face.

Only then did she truly realize how terribly wrong she had been to storm into the hospital that morning and berate Aitana in public.

In the days that followed, Joaquin indeed never returned to the Pollock family clinic.

He understood there was no future with Aitana. The only person left beside him was Yehua. He wasn’t without feelings for her—she had sacrificed a great deal for him, and more importantly, his parents were very fond of her.

Since there was no hope, he knew he had to keep his distance from Aitana and stop visiting the Pollock family clinic as he had done almost daily before.

Meanwhile, Aitana’s life gradually returned to normal.

She went to work on time and left on time every day.

In her spare moments, she helped Alex keep an eye on the progress of his house renovation. Alex still had plenty of questions for her, and through those frequent interactions, their relationship quietly grew closer.

Another week passed in the blink of an eye.

That Saturday, Aitana was on vacation again.

This time, she had promised Alex a short road trip. Her second uncle and her younger cousin joined them as well. Coincidentally, her cousin was on his monthly break from school.

High school studies were exhausting, and Aitana wanted him to relax, so she brought him along.

They spent the day enjoying the autumn scenery outside the city.

After wandering around for a while, Alex said, “Aitana, this place isn’t far from my hometown. Why don’t we go there for a visit? With so many of us, we can have a barbecue. The weather’s getting colder—perfect for it.”

Aitana looked at him. “Is it really that close? Are you talking about Wildridge Manor?”

“Yes,” Second Aunt Pollock chimed in with interest. “I’ve heard that the York family’s Wildridge Manor is even more beautiful than many scenic spots. Since we’re nearby, let’s go take a look.”

The York family’s Wildridge Manor was not open to the public. Many people longed to visit but never had the chance.

Seeing how interested her aunt was, Aitana agreed.

Alex immediately called the butler at Wildridge Manor and asked him to prepare barbecue ingredients.

Not far away, Serenity handed a plate of cut fruit to the old lady. Glancing toward Alex and the others, she said, “Alex wants to bring Aitana back to Wildridge Manor for a visit. I wonder if she’ll agree.”

The old lady picked up a piece of fruit with a disposable fork and smiled. “It’s so close—of course she should go. I’ve been away for a long time myself. It’s about time I returned to Wildridge Manor for a few days.”

She added decisively, “Once we’re back, all of you stay there. You’re not allowed to return to the city until after dinner on Sunday night.”
