Chapter 5471

Reporters immediately crowded around the convoy, forcing the driver to stop the car.

Titus rolled down the window.

The reporters nearest to the vehicle caught their first clear look at him. After a brief moment of stunned silence, they quickly raised their cameras and began snapping photos.

The chairman of Lonen Group was far younger and more handsome than they had imagined.

At last, they had seen the true face of Boss Young-Johnsonβ€”or rather, Boss Labbe.

"Mr. Young-Johnsonβ€”no, we should call you Mr. Labbe now. May we ask why you've come to the Labbe Group today? Are you really the head of the Labbe family? Have you officially taken over the family?"

"Mr. Labbe, why did you keep your identity hidden for so many years? Why conceal your face while building Lonen Group?"

"Mr. Labbe, since you possessed the Labbe family's headship token all along, why didn't you simply announce your identity and assume the position of family head?"

"That's right. If you were always destined to become the family head, why establish Lonen Group? And why has Lonen Group been targeting Labbe Group all these years?"

Questions flew at him one after another.

Titus swept his gaze across the crowd of reporters surrounding his car before answering in a calm, steady voice.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here today to complete the transfer of authority with Timothy. Yes, I officially assumed the position of head of the Labbe family yesterday."

"As for your other questions, I'll hold a formal press conference after the handover is complete and after I've finished handling some family matters. At that time, I'll answer everyone's questions."

"Today simply isn't the right time, and I don't have the time to do interviews. I hope you'll understand."

He didn't mind speaking to the media.

Today simply wasn't the day for it.

There were still countless matters waiting for him.

The changes that had taken place within the Labbe family the day before had been nothing short of an earthquake. Even if no one had leaked the news, experienced reporters would have sensed that something major had happened.

Whether they had been tipped off by Timothy or had discovered the story on their own, Titus simply couldn't spare the time for interviews.

Since Titus had spoken so clearly, the reporters stopped blocking the convoy.

Having dealt with him many times before, they knew he always kept his word.

If he said he would hold a press conference after settling everything, he undoubtedly would.

The massacre that had devastated the Labbe family thirty years earlier had been shrouded in conspiracy and intrigue.

Even after three decades, people still talked about it.

Many still wondered whether the little boy who escaped that night had survived.

If he had survived, would he ever return?

And if he did return, could he truly reclaim everything that belonged to him?

Even with the family head's token in hand, many believed that without influence or loyal supporters, he wouldn't be able to hold the position for long. They feared he would meet the same fate as his father.

There had been endless speculation.

Now, the news that the missing child had returned and officially become head of the Labbe family had sent reporters rushing to the scene with cameras and microphones.

So the mysterious chairman of Lonen Group had been that missing child all along.

Judging solely by what Lonen Group had accomplished, the boy had grown into a highly capable man, more than qualified to lead the Labbe family.

But why had Lonen Group spent years relentlessly competing against Labbe Group?

Did Titus already know the truth about what had happened thirty years ago?

There were simply too many unanswered questions.

All anyone could do was wait.

If the young heir had truly returned to seek justice, the truth would eventually come to light.

The era of Lennox and his son was finally drawing to a close.

For years, the father and son had used their status as acting heads of the Labbe family to dominate Havenmill, driving countless companies into bankruptcy.
