“Dinner’s almost ready. Baby, go keep your cousins company,” Serenity urged.

After finishing his soup, Baby washed the bowl himself, put it back where it belonged, then called out to Sonny, “Cousin, let’s go talk about company business.”

Sonny immediately refused as he walked out with him. “I don’t want to think about work after office hours. Once work’s over, you’re supposed to relax. If you talk business at the company and then continue after work, you’ll lose your mind sooner or later.”

After work was personal time—time to unwind, not stay mentally tense all the time.

Baby laughed. “Fair enough. No business talk after work.”

The two cousins returned to the sofa and sat down. The moment he settled in, Baby reached out and tried to pinch Livia’s cheek.

“When Livia was little, she was so chubby,” he said with a grin. “Her cheeks were soft and squishy. Pinching them felt great.”

Before he could touch her, Livia grabbed his wrist and pretended to glare at him.

“Big Cousin, I’m not a little kid anymore. So that’s why you used to pinch my face all the time—you thought I was fat.”

There had indeed been a period when she was adorably chubby as a child.

Sonny laughed openly. “You guys used to bully her constantly. Livia got so mad she said she’d train hard in martial arts so nobody could ever pinch her cheeks again.”

Then he added teasingly, “Honestly, you should thank us older brothers for your fighting skills. We practically motivated you.”

Livia was speechless.

Baby burst out laughing. “Your brother’s completely biased. When anyone tried to pinch Belle’s cheeks, he’d protect her like crazy.”

He continued, “Besides, Belle wasn’t as chubby as you were. There wasn’t even enough cheek to pinch—it would’ve hurt. Your brother’s also super protective of you. We all had to avoid touching his little sister.”

Sonny lightly smacked Baby on the arm.

The three siblings continued joking around, filling the room with laughter.

Not long afterward, Grandma Lewis and her husband arrived.

They brought an entire car full of gifts and supplements—some for Serenity, some for Livia.

Looking at the towering pile in the living room, Serenity rubbed her forehead helplessly.

“Auntie, you really don’t need to bring me this much. Preparing things for Livia is enough. I already have more supplements at home than I can finish.”

Grandma Lewis waved her off immediately. “Then eat more of them. At your age, you need to take care of yourself properly. Supplements help delay aging and keep you young.”

Livia sighed helplessly too. “Grandma, I can’t carry all this back. My mom doesn’t need it, and neither do I. I’m still young—I don’t need this many supplements.”

She added quickly, “Keep them for yourself. I’ll just take the snacks.”

Her grandmother had prepared so many supplements for Liberty that it gave Livia a headache.

She usually traveled for business by high-speed rail, not by car, and she preferred traveling light. Her suitcase was small and only held a few changes of clothes.

Meanwhile, her grandmother had practically prepared an entire truckload of health products.

Even if she emptied her suitcase completely, none of it would fit.

Grandma Lewis looked surprised. “You didn’t drive here?”

Livia shook her head. “Grandma, I rarely drive myself on business trips. If it’s far away, I fly. If it’s nearby, I take the high-speed rail. It’s more convenient, so I only bring a small suitcase.”

Grandma Lewis sighed. “Ganshenypille isn’t even that far. Why didn’t you drive?”

Then she reluctantly gave up. “Fine. Just take the snacks Grandma bought for you. But don’t eat too many snacks—make sure you eat proper meals too.”
