Ch. 4672: Married At First Sight Chapter 4672

Chapter 4672

Only once the kids were sound asleep could the couple finally enjoy some peace. Otherwise, the two little ones would always end up playing third wheel.

“Alright, I’ll shower first,” Zachary said, brushing Belle’s hair gently. “Belle, finish your milk and get some sleep. Daddy’s just going to take a quick shower.”

Belle was too focused on drinking her formula to respond. Curled up in her mom’s arms, she closed her eyes while sipping slowly.

Even when drowsy, she kept sucking the bottle. Once she stopped completely, that was the sign she was out.

Serenity quietly removed the bottle and placed it on the bedside table.

Even though Belle was already a year and a half, Serenity still held her for a little while after her night bottle before laying her down.

Zachary came out of the bathroom shirtless, towel in hand, drying his hair as he walked over.
“Is she asleep?”

“Yeah. Keep your voice down. Let her sleep a little deeper before we put her down,” Serenity whispered.

She looked up and saw him dripping wet, shirtless, and smiled teasingly.
“What’s the rush? You didn’t even dry off or put on a shirt. We’ll be undressing soon anyway, so I guess it saves a step—not like anyone’s coming in to see you right now.”

She continued, “But dry off properly. Blow dry your hair too. Sleeping with wet hair isn’t good. The old folks used to say it causes headaches. And it’s not just a woman thing, you know.”

Zachary replied, “My hair’s short, it’ll dry fast. Plus, the AC’s on.”

By the time Serenity came out of the shower, his hair would be completely dry.

After a few minutes, Serenity laid Belle gently on the bed and covered her with a small quilt. “Sit with her for a bit. I’m going to shower.”

With a parent nearby, Belle would sleep more soundly.

Before she could walk away, Zachary pulled her into his arms, kissed her lips, and whispered, “Babe, I missed you so much.”

Serenity’s face flushed, and she gave him a light push. “It’s only been ten days. We video chatted almost every day.”

“Video calls don’t help. I only feel at ease when I’m holding you.”

Just as he leaned in to kiss her again, Serenity covered his mouth.
“Enough kissing! If you keep this up, I might as well skip the shower. Stay with Belle—I’m going.”

She slipped away before he could stop her.

Zachary chuckled and let her go.

After all, tonight he’d finally get to hold his wife again.

He grabbed a book and sat on the bed, propped against the headboard, flipping through a few pages.

But a few minutes in, he closed the book and set it on the nightstand.

He leaned over toward Belle, quietly watching her sleep. The more he looked, the more he adored her. She was delicate, like a doll.

She had features from both him and Serenity—a perfect blend of their best traits.

“Belle, Daddy loves you so much.”

He gently caressed her cheek and pressed his face against hers.

She slept soundly, completely undisturbed.
